Alopecia areata is characterized by rapid and complete loss of in patches. Usually affects the scalp, but may involve heared, eyebrows and eye lashes or even universal. We tried to treat with Meladinine solut on(Memphis Chemical Co.) followed by U-V irradiation in 12 cases., male 8, female 4 and which 7 F,re resulted good effects with complete healing of 5 cases and, incomplete but partial improvement, 6 cases and no effects, I case.
We observed also histclogical and morphological findings of hair bulb and hair root in Alopecia areata and the normal scalp hair through the study of other authors descriptions and our 4 cases of Alopecia areata, was taken biopsy specimen from the involved scalp.
